I have been into metal and punk since I was about 12 years old, starting in 1978. In 1984, I decided to make it a bit more real and began hosting a radio show on WCSB 89.3 FM in Cleveland, Ohio USA called See you in Hell (later known as Tales of Terror because of harassment from the Moral Majority). I kept that up until 1986, when I married a member of Intense Mutilation and moved to New York.

During this time, I also was writing about metal, the scene, etc. After all, the mid-eighties were an exciting time for metal, and being a part of the thrash metal scene was truly being on the cutting edge - most of us did not have a clue just how big extreme metal was going to become. I had my own fanzine (Thrashcore), was the Underground Editor for the Alternative Press, as well as a contributor to countless fanzines, magazines and newspapers worldwide.

In the late 90s, I divorced my husband, and in 2000 I returned to being an active member of the metal scene. I had moved back to Cleveland after the divorce and decided to rejoin WCSB, reviving See you in Hell. I also decided to take my photography a bit more seriously and began to shoot concerts I attended.

In late November 2002, I moved to Zurich, Switzerland. Now I am concentrating on ZCM Records/Distro, photography, journalism and the occasional radio show on Radio LoRa. In 2003, I moved to Basel, Switzerland.

As time progresses, I will put up some of my historical articles, photos, interviews, etc. on this site. I'm also starting to gather some information together for a book I am planning on writing about those early days when thrash was evolving, and what it was like to be a woman in the middle of it. My primary focus now, however, is what is happening in the metal scene today.

If you remember me from the 80s, I'd really appreciate it if you got in touch!
